Day 1: arrive Yangon in morning and transfer to hotel; all day tour of Yangon including the National Museum, the Gems Museum, the Myanmar Gallery of Contemporary Arts and the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. In the evening dinner with magnificent cultural show at Karaweik floating restaurant on Kandawgyi Lake. Overnight Yangon Day 2: morning tour of Yangon visiting the Bo-Ka-Lay Market, the National Races Museum and the famous Scotts Market. In the afternoon visit the White Elephants at Min-Da-Ma hill, and Kyauk-Taw-Gyi Pagoda which houses the largest marble Buddha Image in Myanmar. In the late afternoon visit the Botataung Paya on the Yangon River. Overnight Yangon Day 3: depart for Bagan early morning followed by all day tour of Bagan including visits to Nyaung-U market; Shwezigon Paya which was started by King Anawrahta and completed by King Kyansittha; Kyansittha Umin Paya built into a cliff face; Gubyaukgyi Paya in Wetgyi Inn Village built in the 13th century and with fine stuccowork on the exterior walls; Htilominlo temple from 12th century and Upali Thein Ordination Hall named after a famous Monk called Upali. Afternoon visit the Bagan Museum; Gawdawpalin Pahto one of the largest of Bagan's Temples; Ananda Patho with four 9.5 meter Buddha Images and four 10.6 meter high teakwood gates; lacquerware workshops; and see the sunset from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Paya which was the first Stupa built in Myanmar. Overnight Bagan. Day 4: all day tour of Bagan; morning visit the famous Izagonna temple famous for paintings and from where you can see a panoramic view of the Bagan area; Toyoke Pay temple (13th century); Payathonzu temple which is famous for mural paintings from the 13th century. Also visit Phwasaw village, Dhamarazika Stupa (12th century) the largest Pentagonal Stupa in Bagan. After lunch visit Manuha Temple (end of 11th century) and Nanphaya Temple dating from the early 12th century to see one of the best stone carvings of Hindugod Bramin; Gubyauk gyi Temple (early 12 century) in Myinkapar village which was preserved by UNESCO about 20 years ago and which has beautiful colourful paintings; Mingalar Zedi the last of the Payas to be built before the decline of the Bagan Era; Dhamayangyi Temple; Shwegugyi temple from 12th century. Late afternoon take a sunset cruise by from boat from Pyathatgyi Temple.Overnight Bagan Day 5: morning drive to Mount Popa - the home of the Nats and a Nature reserve; on the way visit Sale and the Yoke Soe Monastery museum and Sasannayaunggyi Monastery to see the Monk's library and the largest lacquerware Buddha Image. If you feel energetic you can climb the 777 stairs to the Pagoda at the top of the volcanic "plug" in Mount Popa for a very panoramic view of the area. Overnight Popa Mountain Resort Day 6: morning depart Mount Popa for Mandalay by air and visit U Bein bridge, Amarapura and Sagaing. Marionette show in the evening. Overnight Mandalay Day 7: all day sightseeing in Mandalay including visits to the famous Mahamuni Pagoda, the World's Biggest Book and the numerous handicraft shops: see how traditional Myanmar handicrafts are made. And not forgetting the memorable sunset as seen from Mandalay Hill. Overnight Mandalay Day 8: morning depart Mandalay by air for Inle Lake. See the very special ways of growing food on the floating gardens in the lake. The fishermen have an unique method of propelling their boats!! Overnight at lakeside hotel or hotel in-the-lake Day 9: morning visit Nam Pan Market, In Paw Khone Village the floating gardens and the famous Nga Phe Kyaung or "Jumping Cat" Monastery. and depart late morning for Pindaya via the old hill station town of Kalaw. In Pindaya visit the famous caves housing thousands of Buddha Images and then relax in the beautiful surroundings. Overnight in Pindaya hotel Day 10: morning depart Pindaya for Mandalay airport by land via Ywangban, Myogyi and Kyaukse through the most magnificent scenery including the Than O Chow nature reserve . In afternoon fly to Yangon and overnight at Yangon hotel Day 11: all day in Yangon free-and-easy or take in a round of golf before your international departure
