Day 1: arrive Yangon in morning and transfer to hotel followed by a tour of Yangon including the National Museum, Scotts Market (Bogyoke Market) and the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. In the evening dinner with magnificent cultural show at Karaweik floating restaurant on Kandawgyi Lake. Overnight Yangon

Day 2: morning visit the Bo-Ka-Lay Market in Kon-The Street (off Merchant Street) and the Gems Museum. In the afternoon visit the White Elephants at Min-Da-Ma hill, the Kyauk-Taw-Gyi Pagoda which houses the largest marble Buddha Image in Myanmar and the Botatuang Paya on the Yangon River. Overnight Yangon.

Day 3: morning drive to Bago (Pegu) - on the way visit the Hraukkyant War Memortial which pays tribute to 27,000 Allied Soldiers who perished during World War 2. In Bago visit the Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha (circa 994 AD) measuring 55 metres long; the Shwemawdaw Paya towering 114 metres; the Mahazedi Paya originally built by King Bayinnaung, subsequently destroyed by an earthquake in 1930 and finally rebuilt in 1982; the Kaik Pun Paya built in 1476 and where stand four 30-metre high Buddha Images. Overnight Yangon.

Day 4: depart for Bagan early morning followed by all day tour of Bagan including visits to Nyaung-U market; Shwezigon Paya which was started by King Anawrahta and completed by King Kyansittha; Kyansittha Umin Paya built into a cliff face; Gubyaukgyi Paya in Wetgyi Inn Village built in the 13th century and with fine stuccowork on the exterior walls; Htilominlo temple from 12th century and Upali Thein Ordination Hall named after a famous Monk called Upali. Afternoon visit the Bagan Museum; Gawdawpalin Pahto one of the largest of Bagan's Temples; Ananda Patho with four 9.5 meter Buddha Images and four 10.6 meter high teakwood gates; lacquerware workshops; and see the sunset from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Paya which was the first Stupa built in Myanmar. Overnight Bagan.

Day 5: all day tour of Bagan; morning visit the famous Izagonna temple famous for paintings and from where you can see a panoramic view of the Bagan area; Toyoke Pay temple (13th century); Payathonzu temple which is famous for mural paintings from the 13th century. Also visit Phwasaw village, Dhamarazika Stupa (12th century) the largest Pentagonal Stupa in Bagan. After lunch visit Manuha Temple (end of 11th century) and Nanphaya Temple dating from the early 12th century to see one of the best stone carvings of Hindugod Bramin; Gubyauk gyi Temple (early 12 century) in Myinkapar village which was preserved by UNESCO about 20 years ago and which has beautiful colourful paintings; Mingalar Zedi the last of the Payas to be built before the decline of the Bagan Era; Dhamayangyi Temple; Shwegugyi temple from 12th century. Late afternoon take a sunset cruise by from boat from Pyathatgyi Temple.Overnight Bagan

Day 6: morning free and easy Bagan and at 11:00 board the luxurious Pandaw 2 for your cruise to Mandalay. Explore Pakokku in afternoon

Day 7: all day cruising the Ayeyawady River including river stop at Yandabo village to see the potteries and see typical village life in this village which is only accessible from the river

Day 8: morning arrive Mandalay and transfer to Mandalay airport for flight to Heho for Inle Lake; on the way to the airport visit Kuthodaw Paya which houses the world's biggest book comprising 729 marble slabs upon which are inscribed the entire Tripitaka; also visit gold-leaf making workshops. Drive from Heho airport to Nyaung Shwe and have lunch before transferring to Golden Island Cottages hotel on Inle lake. In the afteroon take a boatride on Inle Lake and visit Ywama Viilage, silversmiths, goldsmiths, weaving workshops and Phaung Daw U Kyaung, the holiest religious site in the Southern Shan State.  Overnight Inle Lake.

Day 9: morning take a boat ride around Inle Lake and then transfer to car for trip to Pindaya Caves with over 8,000 Buddha Images. Lunch at Conqueror Hotel and afternoon return to hotel via Kalaw. Overnight Inle Lake.

Day 10: morning visit Nam Pan Market, In Paw Khone Village the floating gardens and the famous Nga Phe Kyaung or "Jumping Cat" Monastery.  Afternoon transfer to Heho airport for flight to Mandalay and visit the Nyaung Shwe market en route. After arriving at Mandalay airport visit the U Bein teakwood bridge, famed as the longest teakwood bridge in the world, and see the sunset at Taung Tha Man In. Overnight Mandalay.

Day 11: morning visit the Maha Muni Pagoda which houses the 2,500 year old bronze Mahamuni Buddha Image which was transported more than two centuries ago from Thrigoke Hill near Mrauk-U in Rakhine State to Mandalay; visit stone carving and tapestry workshops, a silk weaving factory in Amarapura and Sagaing Hill; lunch at the Happy Hotel in Sagaing. In the afternoon take a short boat ride to Innwa ("Ava") and then a buggy to visit this old Capital including the Bagaya Teakwood Monastery which has 267 massive teakwood posts, the biggest measuring 18 metres high x 2.1 metres circumference, the impressive Maha Aung Mye Bon Zan brick Monastery and the 27 metre high Watch Tower. Return to Mandalay and visit the fine wooden Shwenandaw Kyaung (also known as the "Golden Palace Monastery"); then on to Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda which houses a huge Buddha Image carved out of a single boulder and which was King Mindon's "merit". See the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight Mandalay.

Day 12: morning take a leisurely boatride across the Ayeyawady to Mingun and see the world's largest ringing bell cast in 1808, the massive unfinished Mingun Paya and the wonderful Mingun Buddhist Home for the Aged founded in 1915 by Daw Oo Zun; then on to the Mya Thein Dan Zedi before returning to Mandalay. In the afternoon visit the Mandalay Palace and Hman Kyaung ("Glass Hall Monastery") before flying to Yangon for evening international departures.
