WAS Good Indian food at VERY reasonable prices Happy Noodle House: a very wide range of noodle dishes at reasonable prices on ~ Inya Road Padonma Restaurant: very nice setting in an old colonial house with matching good Myanmar and Thai food at reasonable prices and with set menus in addition to A La Carte; eat in the garden or in the air-con dining room ~ 78C Inya Road
Zawgyi House: nice cafe serving a mixture of food at reasonable prices ~ next to Scott's Market on the roadside so it's a good place to watch the world go by. Aircon available also and now there is a garden at the back of the building
Adorn’s Kitchen: Good Chinese cuisine inside the Grand Meeyahta Executive Residences on Bogyoke Aung San Street and next to Scott's Market

Ayeyarwaddy Riverside Restaurant: very nice restaurant on the banks of the Ayeyawaddy River serving a variety of foods; nice to see the sunset over the river ~ Kannar Road, Between 26th & 35th Streets.
Amarapura Restaurant: serving Thai food in the garden ~ Sinsweput Quarter, Amarapura Lakshmi Indian Restaurant: coffee shop style serving good Indian food at very reasonable prices ~ 225, 28th Street between 80th & 81st Streets * Bagan * Sarabar Restaurant: very reasonably-priced restaurant just outside the Tharabar Gate Hotel in Old Bagan; serves a mixture of foods including some of the best deep-fried Jungle Chicken in the world with no coating on the outside!! There is another restaurant next door called Sarabar Gate 2 which also serves good food but is more expensive and doesn't do the Jungle Chicken. If you do order the chicken ask them just to season with salt and pepper; sometimes they try to please and put that dreadful coating on the outside as is done in fast food restaurants in other parts of the world Mahar Bagan Restaurant: in New Bagan and serving very good Myanmar, Chinese and European cuisine in a very nice setting ~ Khayee Road, Khan Laung Quarter, New Bagan (near to the Chauk-Bagan Roads intersection) Queen Restaurant: reasonably-priced Chinese food ~ Wetkyi-Inn Village between Nyaung U.and Old Bagan
